Nyktos, from the ancient Greek nyktós, means “of the night.” Nyktos Pictures develops and produces timeless genre content, horror, thriller, action, and sci-fi, with commercial appeal for a global audience.

Roughly half of our slate is devoted to bridging Korean and Asian filmmakers and IP with Hollywood. Korean studios and filmmakers want global reach and need a trusted partner to navigate the Hollywood system. Hollywood wants bold new voices and original stories, and needs help finding them. We work on both sides of that bridge.

Our team has spent decades building relationships in Hollywood and in the Korean film industry, and understands the creative, cultural, and commercial needs on both sides of the Pacific. We adapt existing IP for the global market and develop original stories with franchise potential, from independent films to studio-scale productions, and we are extending our co-production work to filmmakers across Asia.

Nyktos Pictures was founded as Nokturnal Productions and adopted its new name in 2026. Our home on the web is now nyktospictures.com.
